SO if anyone know how to go about it please help

~THANKS ALOT~

If you want to format your primary drive, you will need to do it from the
original boot CD or recovery CD. You will have probably have to select the
option to remove the current partition and create a new one. Then, do an
install or recover. You will then have a system that is way behind on all
updates, including any applications that are included with your system.
You can't boot the operating system and then format the drive you booted
from. I t is protected.

yes i have tried to format it from my oroginal cd and for some reason its
wont reformat everything is the same ...
i have reforamatted my HD before and it worked and now it doesnt for some
reason .. but i will try it again and see it will work
and thanks for the help :)

you make emergency boot
disks and ensure that fdisk
is on it. Then boot with them
and fdisk your harddrive.

afterwards you can use the
emergency boot cd to recreate
a partition or two...
