Referring to cell on another worksheet question

So, here is what I have:

'Worksheet1'!B4

'Worksheet2'!C3:H24

'Worksheet3'!C3:H24

This is what I want to do. In worksheet 3, I want all of those cell
to be values of the exact same cell in Worksheet 2 to be divided b
'Worksheet1'!B4. Like this in equation form:

'Worksheet3'!C3 = ('Worksheet2'!C3/'Worksheet1!B4)

and

'Worksheet3'!D3 = ('Worksheet2'!D3/'Worksheet1'!B4)

and so on and so on.

So, I put the correct formula into Worksheet 3 C3 and I get the answe
that I am looking for. However, when I drap the formula to be copie
into the entire area of C3:H24, it doesn't work. For example, i
WS3!C4, the value in WS2:!C4
is getting divided by WS1!B5. I don't want this. I want all values i
WS3!C3:H24 to be divided by WS1:B4. I have tried using stuff lik
'Worksheet1'!$B$4 and I haven't been able to get it to work.

Can someone please help me out. If so, I will give you a cookie.
Thanks

I put =Sheet2!C3/Sheet1!$B$4 into cell Sheet3!C3, did a copy paste t
the rest of the cells and got it to work fine.

I hate to say it, but you might want to try again... Or more likely
have misunderstood.

Try:

C3: =Worksheet2!C3/Worksheet1!B$4

and see "the difference between relative and absolute references" in XL
Help.
