Thank You Electra!

That worked well. I am sure I tried using INDIRECT before, but
obviously I did it incorrectly. That should allow me to accomplis
what I need.

Perhaps you or someone else could assist me with the second part of m
question then. Is there a way to collect the names of the sheet tabs
(sheet1, sheet2, sheet3, etc....), and make those names available fo
use in the list box?

No Dave I can't help with that part it is beyond my knowledge. I
think you should repost that part of the question. Others should know
the answer. also did you see Franks answer posted Nov 2 2004 under
the title : One more time - substitutions. that seems to be related
to what you asked.
