References problem running Vista

I have a new machine with trial version of Office 2007. I installed Office
2003 Professional. Made some changes to the Access code and everything worked
fine. I uninstalled the trial version of 2007 and now I can't edit my
modules, change the now defunct references, or compile.

When I find the 12.0 object library is missing, I uncheck it and select the
appropriate 11.0 object library and get the error message: Can't perform the
requested operation.

If I try and compile I get the error: Error in loading dll

I tried running Access using "run as administrator" and turning off UAC
(user account control) to no avail.

A little help is greatly appreciated.
