References not staying checked

Thanks in advance for any help!

I have added a couple of references by checking them under the Tools >
References but they aren't staying checked.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening (Excel 97 SR2)?

OE isn't working just right today so please Cc: me on your reply

Hi,

references are workbook specific. Maybe you "lose" the references because
they are in another workbook.
