I just bought a new HP with Windows XP Home. Since
setting up Friday, I keep getting different errors while
in Outlook Express stating The instructions at 0x00a4b7da
referenced memory at 0x00220060. Memory could not be
read. That is only one of the errors - got about 5
others. I have done all the virus protections and all my
updates for Windows. Running Nortons and have firewalls
on. Any ideas? Are these serious errors and do I need
to return this pc?

Thanks!

What are the other errors? Do you get them only in OE? What are you doing
when you get them?

Is your anti-virus application up-to-date? Have you run a full system scan
lately?

Check for malware/spyware using AdAware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ or another malware identifier
like Spybot, HijackThis or BHO Demon.

In something so basic as Outlook express these indicate trouble with the
RAM memory - and as it is a brand new machine I would return it.
