Reference between sheets

am trying to creat an excel file that will have few sheet.
The first one will contain a list of items, the other one will be the details.
For example:
Sheet1:
1. Pump
2. Computer
3. Laser Head

Sheet2:
Pump
Pump Head
Pump Motor
Pump tubing
....
...

I thought that may be the hyperlink is a good idea, but may be anyone has a
better idea?
