referances in difernt sheets same work book

hiw do i use refferance a cell in a differnt shet for formular i rember my
teachure teling me in collage but cant find it any book i know it has some
thing to do with absolute cell reffeerances and the $ key
 
Maybe the word you are trying to look up is not spelled correctly.

In any cell of sheet1 enter =sheet2!A1

You don't need absolute references but if you did want them, highlight the A1 in
the formula bar and cycle through by hitting the F4 key.
