RefEdit doesn't work properly

Hello,

I have a form with an RefEdit element on it.
When I activate the form I can't switch to other
sheets to select a cell or range with the RefEdit!
When I move the form the background is blurred
where the old position of the form was!

Does somebody know why?

I work with WIN XP and Excel 2002!

If you have screenupdating set to false, then that would be the source of
the problem.

Hi Tom,

I tried it to set it to true but it doesn't work either.
The main problem is that I can't switch to other sheets
to select a cell or range. The behaviour of the worksheet
when I activate the RefEdit element is a bit odd (slow and
there is an additional status bar on the bottom of the excel
window).

Any idea?

If I recall correctly, in xl2002, refedit could not be used to navigate to
other sheets - this was a bug. (It may have been only in a particular set of
circumstances - I don't recall the specifics - but I think it was in
general). Perhaps this is the problem you are having. The screenupdating
to true would correct the trail that is left when you move the userform and
it is false.
