redundant computer accounts

i now this one has been around loads of times before but ...

have dumped the domain database to get a report of computer accounts and the
lastpwdreset time with a view to purging a source domain of old computer
accounts

my understanding was that netlogon would change password every 7 days from
which you could infer that computers were no longer attached to the network
??

does this change for windows 2000 clients logging on to an NT4 domain ???

have found that this does in fact changed for win2k domain members to a 30
day interval

one other qu on the same line - what about interdomain (trust) accounts ??

do these have a password reset per se ?

They have a password.

The computer account password (probably) time-out every 7 days in WinNT 4.0.
