I am trying to reduce the recorded volume of an mp3 song and save it
(to be transfered to my cellphone as a ringtone). Does anyone know of
a program to do this. Thanks in advance...

In addition to MP3Gain, almost any wave editor such as Audacity.

you.Click the button "Big mp3s to Small". You can set the" Option"
"scale" to 0.5 to reduce volume.Very easy.
