Reduce Size

My OS is Win.XPPro.
Is there a way of reducing the size of print in information/action windows
(the usual
reduce/increase size alternatives are not shown in the right hand upper
corner) produced in Safe Mode?

Mine are so large that I do not get the whole window on my monitor's screen
and
consequently I am unable to carry out in this instant any alterations to the
Add-ons in Manage Add-ons window, because the Enable/Disable alternatives
are right at the bottom of the window, which I cannot get at!

Put it somewhere you can get at? How about an item easily found from the
Start Menu?

Add-ons. How would you suggest I proceed from there?
