redistributing fonts

I'd like to know in terms of licensing restrictions what dictates whether a
font can be copied/transferred to another computer? I have several fonts on
my machine at home which I'd like to use on my work machine. Sh

That would depend entirely on where the particular Fonts came from or
the software they were bundled with or if they were purchased
separately. They typically are not "Freeware" with "unlimited distribution".
