Redirecting of chosen internet search matter

Hello,
For some reason whenever I click on a selected search topic I am
re-directed to a different site. This is proving very annoying as I end up
having to type the address in the address bar to ensure I get to where I want
to go. Help!

Since you didn't say to where you are being directed, I can only assume
that your computer has been hijacked by malware. If you are being
redirected to legitimate sites, please provide more information.
