I use windows xp and OE. I get red x's everywhere where in reality should be a graphical image.

What needs to be changed or checked?

Start with the correct newsgroup, and be more elaborate in your
query.

Try opening OE...tools...options...security tab and make sure the
block images box is not checked.

THANKS. Great advice. Works like a charm now.

Appreciate your help, rather than sending me to another newsgroup without
help.

Thanks again!

Huh? Don't have that in my OE6.

I'd love to know what he checked. Maybe Ricky should reply to posts
in the OE NG!

I'm using SP2 and that may be the reason. I sometimes forget it adds
things others may not have. I have to assume he was using SP2 also.

OK. I'll buy that. I was not aware of that change since I have no
intention of downloading SP2 until it is released to the general
public and no longer in Beta form. Heck. I'll probably wait a while
longer to see what problems come with the upgrade by watching the
posts.

Thanks for the enlightenment. Had the OP mentioned SP2, I would have
directed him to the *Only* SP2 newsgroup.
