Is the image a form or a photo, if it is a photo image, have you got show pictures switched on in your toolbar., if not go to tools-Internet Options-Advanced scroll down to Multimedia and put a tick in the box "Show Pictures" otherwise you may need to clear your on and off line files, and cookies.
