Red Performance Graph

My performance graph under Task Manager has an intermittant red blip that
shows up at random times. Usually around every few seconds but not always. I
cannot seem to find info on this. Does anyone know what this means?

Open your performance graph and click "view" at the top, Uncheck the "Show
Kernel Times" and the red dots or blips are gone. Have fun.
