Red Cross

Hello
I'm sure there is a very simple solution to my problem. When I receive
mails that have graphics included they often show as a small square with a
red cross in. What setting do I need to change so that I can view the image?
I am using Outlook 6 on ME.
Please keep the solution simple. Many thanks
