Red Asterisk at line 500 inside an EXCEL Sheet

I have been using EXCEL to track my job searches and
nearing line 500 inside that one same sheet. There, in the
middle of line 500, there is a RED Asterisk, and it cannot
get celared. What is that?

XL2003 has an insert row option inside the new "list" feature.
This row is designated by an asterisk. Maybe that's what
you've got?
