Recycle Bin

I have just installed XP Home. My problem is this. WHen
I send items to the recycle bin the appear to go there.
When I go to the bin to see what files are there nothing
is shown. No icons, list or anything. My desktop
recycle bin shows files in it. Also if check the
properties it tells me that I have file sin it and gives
the opportunity to delete them. But I can't see those
files. WHat do I do?

It is a problem of user profile.Just create a new user
account and problem would resolve.

You might want to try "Repair/Restore Recycle Bin". Go to
Kellys-Korner-Teaks at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and you
will find it at line 64, right side column. The instructions for using it
are at the top of the Tweaks page.

Hi,

IMPORTANT: All the files deleted previously [present in the R.Bin] will be
erased permanently.

Create a dummy notepad document and save it. Delete the file and let it go
to recycle bin.
Now, empty recycle-bin

Solution 2: You may want to delete the Recycled folder or follow Kelly
Theriot's repair solution. (Deleting the info2 file). That should definitely
solve it. You may need to restart Windows after that.
