Recycle bin problem

Does anyone know why the recycle bin does not show what
is inside it, i cannot see the file that have been
deleted so i cannot restore any.

Do you have norton anitvirus installed? Sometimes the
advanced tools that are included in norton AV 2003 and
2004 cause the recycle bin to display protected files
instead of the original contents. You can disable this by
going into Norton AV and then selecting options. Go to
the advanced tools and when you click on modify on the
recycle bin properties, you can choose to set it to
display the deleted items instead of protected files. You
can also try right clicking once on your recycle bin and
choose the option that is right for you.
