Recycle Bin - invisible files?

OK, big problem here.

I deleted a file which I did not intend to delete. Now, I
access 'system cleanup' and it says my recycle bin has
700,000kb worth of files in it. However, when I access
the Recycle Bin, there are only about 10 files in there
and the largest is a 6mb file. I have the settings
on 'show hidden files'... so it cannot be hidden. The
files I NEED to recover are clearly in there... but I
can't see them. Anyone help?

thanks, Kris

Right click on the recycle bin and then click "Explore"
and see if it displays the files you are looking for. Then
double click them and choose restore. Keep smiling.

*Please* quote some of the original post to which you are replying. To
the OP, this would be a great time to do a System Restore to before you
were fiddling around. Start>Accessorites>System Tools>System Restore.
Restore to just before you deleted the file, when everything worked
well.
