Recycle bin for network drives

My "My Documents" folder is mapped to a network drive on
my laptop. I then synchronise and use offline folders
whilst mobile.

When i delete something from My Documents, it really
deletes, rather than going into my recycle bin. Can I
configure Windows 2000 to do this?
