recycle bin accidental loss

By accident I put my pictures from the My Pictures file
in the recycle bin. I think I may have lost them all. Is
there any way to get them back without further software.
I would appreciate any info.

If you have emptied the recycle bin, then it is very unlikely that you will
be able to retrieve all your photos intact. There is software that
advertises that it will find deleted files, but it is strictly hit and miss.
In the future, get into the habit of backing up your photos to CD-R.

Hi,

No, system restore cannot restore deleted data files.
BTW, if you have use Norton System Works 2004, you can try to use the
feature for proetected files or use the Goback feature.

The free software as mentioned by Frank may not work if you have already
rebooted the PC severally times and especially you are using NTFS system.
