recurring meetings? MS missed the boat.

Yeah fix this MS!!!!! THIS IS a HUGE problem. Do you have a patch yet?
Don't think it's fair to shell out additional cash for this glitch. Somebody
didn't have their thinking caps on that day.

Why are past recurrences that have been individually modified affected by
future changes made to a recurring series? (i.e. changing end date)

end date)

Because recurring meetings are single entries in the calendar, not multiple
ones. The recurrences are calculated on the fly and displayed only in the
Day/Week/Month views. By changing the end date, you are commanding Outlook
to regenerate the entire series, which loses any exceptions you made.

If you want to save the exceptions, follow the method I've posted several
times:
