Recurring appointments

I think it would be nice to have an option when schdualing a recurring
appointment that allows me to set a some better rules on where it shows up in
the calendar.

Example: Microsoft releases updates on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. I
have a couple of pc's that I want to apply these updates to on the Friday
immediately after this day.

I created an appointment to occure on the 2nd Tuesday every month so I'm
reminded updates are being released.

Now I want to set an appointment to install these updates, but can't use the
same the 2nd Friday of every month because this may occure before the updates
are released.

My suggestion is to allow the ability to create a recurring appointment that
happens after another specific time.

Example: Create the appointment so that it happens on the "1st Friday after
the 2nd Tuesday"

I hope this is clear, if not reply back to this and I will try to explain it
better.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to enable Windows Update in the Security Center?

If rebooting these systems anytime wasn't a problem then yes, setting
Automatic Updates would work, but we can't have these systems reboot whenever
updates are applied. So we have to come in early to take care of this.
Also, we like making note of what updates are being applied.

Also, I work for the government and we have some things take place at weird
times that this would be helpful in scheduling.

You should take a look at WSUS.
