I ended up reloading XP Pro after being unable to boot my computer.

I have successfully reloaded XP and all the user's files remain on the system.

For those users without passwords, their files are accessible.

For users that had passwords, their files are not accessible.

Is there a way to get access to the users who had passwords?

Thanks,

James Goodchild

Thank you. This worked very well.

I have got most of the files back.

I appear to have lost Outlook Express files and can no longer access any
encrypted files. I searched the KB but could not find a clear answer on this
last issue. I will post another question on this issue.

You're welcome :-)

For the encrypted files, this might help:

As for the Outlook Express problem, if you haven't done so already, post
your question to the OE newsgroup.....perhaps the folks that frequent the OE
newsgroup could better assist you:
