recovering previously saved document

I wrote a very simple macro that deletes the first table in all open
documents, pastes in a new table and then saves and closes all the open
files. Not paying attention, i accidently ran this macro with one document
where i did not want to delete the table and paste a new one. Because the
file saved and closed too quick for me to try to stop the macro, that
document now is saved with the wrong information. Is there anyway i can
somehow revert to the previously version of the document? I have no backups
of this document and it is the result of many many days work. I tried a
system restore thinking maybe that would give access to a previously saved
version but it was no help. Is there any solution to this urgent problem??

If you have 'Always create backup copy' checked under Tools > Options >
Save, the folder containing the document will also contain a file called
'Backup of ... .wbk', containing the file as it was at the penultimate save.

Failing that, you are indeed screwed. 'Many many days work' and 'no backups'
are phrases that do not go together.
