I recently destroyed my computer but I have the hard drive out of it running
in my new computer as a secondary non boot drive. I had phone numbers for my
isp etc. in there and would like to recover those if possible. I can't seem
to find a file with that info imbedded in it .... Can anyone tell me where
Xp sticks the numbers ? ANd if it is encoded is there any way to recover it ?

Rather than relying solely on technet etc, do your own
search. Get Windows to search all your files for the name
of your service provider. Easy!
