Recovering My Docs..

Came home yesterday and was getting \windows\system32\config\system i is
corrupt or missing. Went thur the steps outlined in KB307545. I can now
login as Owner but cant access my old MY Docs files. ANy help on how to
recover them would be greate

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.

Ok I've taken over ownership of my old My Doc's and recovered the inportant
stuff. Is there anyway that I can fully restore back to say July 1st? When
I look in System Restore theres no restore points listed. The restore points
should be there somewhere, right?
