I've lost my e-mail file in a disk crash. I used Recover my files to search
for e-mail files and it found a file called stahlMAPI.bin. It looks about the
correct size. Anyone know how to read or recover this file?

Thanks1

Hi Dave,

normally all e-mails in Outlook are stored in one file, normally named
"outlook.pst" file.
Also your contacts, tasks and calendars were stored in this PST file.

Search on your harddisk for PST files.

If this PST file is demaged, you could try the program scanpst.xe by
Microsoft:

If you moved an email from Outlook to a Windows folder, then this format of
this email the last letters are letters ".msg", so you have to search for
".msg" files, but if you use Outlook, all emails are stored in PST files.
