Recovering data from 'Detect and Repair'

I used the 'detect and repair' facility in Outlook 2003. Ticked the 'Discard
my customized settings box...' Did not realize all contacts and mails, etc.
would be deleted. Can I recover this information, and if so, how?

Discarding your settings had nothing to do with this. Detect and Repair just
created a profile and a new data file. Your old data file is still there.
Just look for it and set your new profile to use it.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
