Recover XP Pro hard drive after MFT corruption

I know that this might not be possible but its worth a shot! I have a
XP Pro drive that has crashed with a MFT corruption. No backups. I
have replaced the drive and now would like to see if the data can be
"salvaged." How do I go about looking for info/software to try to get
the data back?

If the hard drive is viable (not physically damaged), here are various
data recovery programs. I use Easy Recovery Pro, but it is expensive.
R-Studio has been highly recommended by people who I respect.

R-Studio - http://www.r-tt.com/
File Scavenger - http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm
Ontrack's EasyRecovery - http://www.ontrack.com/software/

If the hard drive is physically damaged you will need to send it to a
professional data recovery company like Drive Savers (my preference) or
Seagate Data Recovery. General prices run from $500USD on up.
