Hi,

I accidentally erased file on NTFS, os W XP. I need it it to b
restored now. Is there a way to do this the most relialbe and secur
way

If it's not in your Recycle Bin, you'll need to download an unerase tool.

There's a few out there, i haven't had any bad or good experiences with any
of them so can't recommend any.

Norton's Unerase Wizard works pretty well. Unfortunately, you need to
install the program BEFORE you delete files. A Google search for unerase
utilities should turn up likely candidates but the longer you use your
computer and create/modify files on it the less likely it is that you
can recover the lost one.

I suppose Active@ Undelete should help you. It is a powerful tool
indeed. If you wish, you can boot with it's disk, if system files are
corrupted and it is impossible to boot.
