Recover after reinstall... revisited

In respect of my question below... and the similar
question posted by Rob... it looks like solutions have
been suggested... but the solution messages are not
available. Why is this?

To refresh... After reinstall... keeping existing filing
structure all directories are available except mine. I
can't enter it to copy work, I can't move it to free
space... I have the passwords (it is my workspace) How do
I access it and retrieve my work? Any ideas will be
gratefully received. Thanks again
