Records can't be read...

Ron Hinds

All of a sudden this afternoon, I got this message while trying to compile
my Access app:

Record(s) can't be read; no read permission on 'D:\Database\AppRon.mdb'

My computer had blue-screened just prior to this, but I didn't have this app
(or even Access) open when it did. I tried running repair - it said
successful. Then I just tried to Compact and got the same error. Any ideas?

Sweet!
That is great news Ron!

Now, do yourself a favor and make a few backup copies of
your database, OK?

Good luck with your projects,

Thanks for the advice, Jeff. I did have multiple copies of it - in fact, I
was already in the latest of those reconstructing my last day's work when
you replied to my query. I just hadn't seen that error before. Thanks again!
