i have a cd burner and xp and was wandering how can i record a movie file
that is on a file sharing program what type of recording cd do i use i dont
have a dvd burner thanx Darryl
 
i just want to say record a movie file onto cd-r is that possible or do i
need a differnet format cd like cd-rw or somthing to that effect?i have sonic
record now and i downloaded nero please give me some advise i have a dvd
player and a cd burner in my pc witch is xp please help thanks Darryl

Check whether your dvd player can play vcd or svcd at this site

If it can then you can burn to a cd. With nero, you choose the cd tab across
the top, then pick either vcd or svcd for the type of cd you want to burn
and follow through the wizard.
If you wish you can burn to a dvd, by selecting the dvd tab in nero and then
folowing the wizard again.
