WHEN I TRY TO RECORD A MOVIE(VCD) ONTO A CDR USING NERO,IT COMES UP "UNSUPPORTED FILE FORMAT".THE SUPPORTED FORMATS INCLUDE AVI AND DIVX,WHICH THIS MOVIE IS. MPEG IS FINE.ANYONE ANY IDEAS.PRETTY NEW TO THIS COMPUTER LARK SO BE GENTLE.

Can you play the movie on your computer? You might need a Xvid codec or
another. Go to,
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
and download gspot. It will tell you what codec the movie needs and if you
have it installed on your computer.

http://www.videohelp.com/ is an excellent resource for such things. If it's
doable with video on CD /R or DVD R/RW you'll find it there.
