Recording from VCR

Hi, I have a Pinnacle DC10 installed and have my VCR attached from scart to S-video input. I have all of the drivers installed. When I try to capture video in Windows Movie Maker I get an 'Unknown Error' message. My OS is XP Home. Any ideas please?
 
You need to use the pinnacle software that came with the card..

Thanks, but unfortunately the Pinnacle software that comes with the card is not compatible with XP and won't install. I have installed a file called DC10plus HardwareInstall_1028 in order to get the drivers installed. My PC now recognises the card. Is there any other capture software that is compatible with the DC10?

a topic. Markus has done some work on AVI_IO
specifically targeting the DC10, I suspect because
he has one...
