Recording bad password attempt

HI, I have a windows2000 professional client on an NT4 domain.

Should bad logon password attempts be recorded on the NT domain controller
or locally on the 2000 client?

For logon to the domain it would be recorded in the security log of the
domain controller that tried to authenticate the client. Make sure that
auditing of "account logon" events is enabled on the domain
ntrollers. -- Steve
