Recording a Macro in Outlook

I've searched the posts and think I've got my answer but would like to
confirm if I understand correctly.

In Outlook, I can't record a macro like I can in Excel or Word. I'd have to
know VBA. Is that correct?

Correct, no macro recorder in Outlook, only VBA code.

Outlook itself has no macro recorder.
