Does anyone know if you can record to a laptop pc running Microsoft XP Pro
from a TV?

You need a TV tuner card, but since you've got a laptop, you'd need an
external one.

Just like when you record a television show using other means - you need the
right hardware..
Do you have a TV Tuner or some input to allow the video/audio to stream into
the laptop in the first place?
