Record selector

I have an Access2000 database. One of the forms records
names, addresses, and such. The user can click on the
record selector bar on the left of the form and select the
entire record. He then clicks the Add A New Record
button, and attempts to click the paste button to
duplicate the record. If this worked he would then edit
the fields that were different and save the new record.
However, it doesn't work on his machine. I get a message
about dates not fitting in the mask or some such. I try
it on my machine and it works. What could be wrong? How
can I fix it? Thanx.

Check his Windows Date format to make sure it is consistent with the way he
is entering dates in the form.

Let me show my ignorance... I have Windows NT 4.0 &
Access 2000... how do I do that?

Control Panel > Regional Options (????? I think that's the right name in
NT4)

The settings are identical on both machines. Now what?

Well... almost all the settings. I am an administrator
for my box and the other user is not. Once I changed that
we went into the Regional Settings, saved, and then it
worked. Thanx for all the help.
