record import

I am looking to create a new lookup zone on my DNS server with duplicate
records from the existingzone. Is there a way with or without 3rd party
software to import the records to the new lookup zone? This is a
forward lookup zone btw. Thanks in advance.

AD integrated or normal? If normal, the textual zone files that underly
the zone (combined with some careful copying and replacing) would be one
way to approach this -- files are, I think, under %SystemRoot%\System32\DNS.

Try Dean Wells, MVP, DNS Dump utility. Download it (actually copy and paste
it from the website into notepad) and rename it as a .CMD file and run it in
a command prompt. For syntax and usage, type in /?.
