Recommendations for RAR decompressing utility

A friend sent me a few video files that are compressed with RAR. Could someone
recommend a small (preferably free) utility that will decompress RAR files, and,
most importantly, will not interfere in any way with Vista's native ZIP
functionality which I am quite happy with. I am not necessarily interested in
anything that has RAR compression capabilities.

I have looked at 7-ZIP, but I am not sure it would interfere with Vista's native
ZIP functionality.

Just don't associate .zip files with 7-Zip and you should be fine. That
goes for WinRAR as well, which is not free.
