Reclaiming Assigned Task

I need to reclaim some assigned tasks that have been accepted by the
assignee, but who is now no longer with the company. Any suggestions?

Open the declined task in your inbox, then from the Actions menu choose
Return to Task List

Unfortunately the Task was Accepted rather than Declined so I do not have
this option open to me. In essence I need to reclaim a task now owned by
someone else, but initially assigned by me. Thanks.

I may be wrong, but I believe that once accepted, you'd need to log in as
that user, then open and re-assign the task to someone else.

Open your copy of the Task (that's if you selected to keep an updated copy
on your Task List).

One the details Tab of that Task there's a button to enable you to make an
unassigned copy of the Task. You can then assign it to someone else or keep
it for yourself to do.
