recipient rejected due to no authorised destination groups

Can anybody help with the following error message i get
on sending emails using outlook? 550 Recipient
Not Authorised [recipient rejected due to no authorised
destination groups]
 
What version of Outlook? To what type of mail server are you connecting? An
ISP or an Exchange Server?
