recieving error message

I am recieving a " Unable to open your default e-mail folders. An unexpected
error has occured. MAPI was unable to load information servive msncon.dll. Be
sure the service is correctly installed and configured." Outlook 2003 will
not open at all. All other office products work fine. When I ran an regedit
msncon.dll was not found. so i am unable to remove what is not there. I
previously had MSN premium and removed it. The account was setup with my
hotmail account. I would like to have outlook work with my verizon/yahoo
account simply because I was recieving too much junk mail regardles of the
settings I used for the hotmail account. Office software was recieved from
CTU online. I spent two hours with their techs trying to resolve this issue
to no avail. When I opened a new account in XP the outlook would open. But
obviously dont want a new account. Was just trying to find a way around the
issue.

msncon.dll is the part of Outlook CoOnnector that allows you to connect
Outlook to Hotmail.

Use Control Panel's Mail applet to remove the Hotmail account and add the
POP account. I'd start with a new mail profile, if I were you. Mail>Show
Profiles>Add.
