When typing a name into the To, Cc or Bcc, a list of recently used email
addresses comes up. These are not in the Outlook Contacts. Where are they
stored and can the file (if it is one) be copied to another PC? Thanks

Nickname file, since you didn't mention the version of Outlook you are using
the most I can tell you is that the file will end with a .NK2 (Outlook
2002/2003/2007) or .NICK (Outlook 2000) file extension. Location of the
file is usually at \documents and settings\<userid>\application
data\microsoft\outlook.

I believe it can be, just replace the nickname file on the new machine with
the one from the old.
