Hi:

I have all these recent files and sites when I use
FrontPage 2003. I do not desire them. How do I remove
them? I go into WindowsExplorer and remove such items as
Site 13, Site 14 etc. When I go back into FrontPage, they
are still listed as being there. Sites that I open as new
become Site 18, Site 19 etc. How do I start this all over
beginning with Site 1.

Whew. Hope this was not confusing.

Regards, Larry

You need to remove / delete the sites using FrontPage not windows explorer. When you do it using
windows, FrontPage doesn't know it's been deleted / removed.

That said, with FrontPage closed, you need to remove the entries from the registry using regedit.

You will find them here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent Web List

Right click on the items in the right hand panel and click Remove. Do *NOT* remove the entry named
Default

Close regedit and reopen FrontPage.

They are still listed in FP because of registry entries. You can delete the registry entries at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent Web List
